Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you land on after signing in (once onboarding is complete). It summarises today’s attendance in five KPI cards, breaks down clock-ins by location, and shows a seven-day trend chart so you can spot patterns at a glance.

Getting there

It’s the home page after login. Click the TimePally logo in the top-left, or use the Dashboard entry at the top of the sidebar.

Note: If your organisation hasn’t finished setup, the portal sends you to the Onboarding Wizard instead of the Dashboard. If your subscription has expired, you’ll see a warning banner at the top.

What you’ll see

  • A location filter (defaults to “All Locations”) and a date picker (defaults to today) at the top. Changing either reloads every widget on the page.
  • Five KPI cards across the row below:
    • Present: number of members clocked in, with “out of N members” underneath.
    • Late: clock-ins that landed after the grace period.
    • Absent: members who haven’t clocked in yet (total members minus present).
    • Devices: active terminals today out of total registered (e.g. “3 / 5”).
    • Subscription: current status (Active, Trial, Grace, Expired, Cancelled, Suspended) colour-coded, with days remaining underneath.
  • Attendance by Location: a grid in the bottom-left showing Present / Late / Absent per location for the selected date.
  • Attendance Trend (Last 7 Days): a stacked bar chart in the bottom-right. Each bar represents a day; segments are green (on-time), amber (late), and red (absent). Hover a bar for the exact counts.

Common tasks

Check today’s overall attendance

Open the Dashboard. Leave the location filter on All Locations and the date on today. The KPI row gives you the headline numbers.

Drill into one location

Click the location filter and pick a location. The KPI cards, Attendance by Location row, and the trend chart all refilter to that location.

Review a past day

Click the date picker and choose any past date. The Dashboard recomputes every widget for that day. The trend chart always shows the seven days ending on the selected date.

See which locations have the most absentees

Look at the Attendance by Location grid. Sort by clicking the Absent column header.

Tips

  • The “Active today” count under Devices only counts terminals that checked in (sent a heartbeat) on the selected date. A device that’s offline all day won’t be counted.
  • The trend chart’s hover tooltip shows the absolute numbers, not percentages: useful when one location has very different member counts from another.
  • The subscription card colour is a quick health check: amber means you’re in the grace period and should renew; red means features are blocked.
