Members

The Members page is where you manage the people TimePally tracks. Add them one at a time, or import a whole spreadsheet in bulk; assign each to a location and a schedule; and reset face data or remove members who no longer work for you.

Getting there

Click Members in the left sidebar (user icon).

What you’ll see

  • A toolbar with a search field, Add Member, and Bulk Upload from Excel.
  • A stats row showing the total member count and two filter checkboxes: Enrolled and Not Enrolled.
  • A grid of members with columns: ID, Firstname, Lastname, Schedule (red “Not Assigned” if missing), Location, Face (green “Yes” / red “No”), Created At, Actions.
  • An editor panel that slides in on the right when you click Add Member or select a row.

Common tasks

Add one member

  1. Click Add Member.
  2. Fill in the editor panel: Member ID, Reg No, Phone, Firstname, Lastname, Location, Schedule. All five fields are required.
  3. Click Save Member. New members are active by default.

Bulk upload from Excel

  1. Click Bulk Upload from Excel.
  2. Pick the Location and Schedule that the whole batch should share.
  3. Click Download template if you don’t have the file yet (it’s timepally_bulk_profiles_upload.xlsx).
  4. Drop the filled spreadsheet into the upload area.
  5. On success, a notification tells you how many profiles were created and how many were skipped (invalid rows are skipped, not fatal).

Edit a member

Click any row in the grid. The editor panel pre-fills. Change fields and click Save Member. If you flip the Active checkbox, you’ll be asked to confirm the status change.

Reset face enrolment

In the Actions column, click Reset Face on any enrolled member. Confirm in the dialog. The member can then re-enrol from their kiosk the next time they clock in.

Delete a member

  1. Select the member in the grid.
  2. Click Delete in the editor panel.
  3. In the confirmation dialog, type the member’s full name exactly to enable the red Delete Member button.
  4. Click Delete Member.

TimePally handles deletion based on whether the member has attendance history:

  • No history → hard delete. The profile is removed entirely.
  • Has history → soft delete. The profile is deactivated instead: attendance records are preserved so your historical reports stay intact. The notification will tell you which path was taken.

Tips

  • The Schedule column shows a red Not Assigned when a member has no schedule. Anyone in that state won’t appear in attendance reports: assign them a schedule on the editor panel.
  • Face enrolment happens at the kiosk, not here. This page only shows whether someone has enrolled (the Face column) and lets you reset it.

Note: Most actions on this page (Add, Save, Delete, Bulk Upload) require an active subscription. If yours has lapsed you’ll see a warning notification and the action won’t go through.

Note: Bulk Upload and single Add both enforce your plan’s member limit. If you’re not on a trial and adding the new members would exceed your plan, the upload is rejected with the over-by-N count. See Subscription to upgrade.
