Getting Started

This guide walks you through setting up TimePally for your organisation.

1. Create an account

Visit app.timepally.com/signup  to start your free 14-day trial. No credit card required.

During sign-up you will be asked to:

  • Enter your organisation name, email and contact details
  • Choose the number of locations you manage
  • Set your primary timezone

2. Install the Android app

TimePally’s check-in kiosk runs on Android 7.0 (Oreo) or higher. A front-facing camera is required for facial recognition.

Download the app from Google Play and sign in with your admin credentials.

3. Create your first location

In the admin dashboard, navigate to Locations → Add Location and enter:

  • Location name and address
  • Operating timezone
  • Number of devices assigned to this location

4. Enrol members

Go to Members → Add Member to invite your team. Each member completes a one-time facial enrolment from their designated kiosk device.

Note: Facial templates are encrypted at rest and stored in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

5. Configure shift schedules

Under Shifts, create schedules that define:

  • Working hours (start and end times)
  • Grace period for late arrivals
  • Applicable days of the week

Assign shifts to individual members or entire departments.

6. Go live

Once members are enrolled and shifts are configured, they can start clocking in immediately. Monitor real-time attendance from your dashboard.
