Leave Requests
The Leave Requests tab (labelled Time Off in the page) is where you record approved leave for individual members. Each record links a member to a time off type and a date range, and the system uses these records to keep attendance reports honest, so a member on leave isn’t flagged absent.
Getting there
Click Time Off & Holidays in the sidebar. The Time Off tab opens by default.
What you’ll see
- A sidebar on the left with a member search field, status filter, leave-type filter, date-range pickers, and Apply Filters / Clear Filters buttons.
- A stats row with four cards: Total Approved, Pending Review, On Leave Today, Total Days Used.
- A grid with columns: Member, Leave Type (with a PAID/UNPAID badge), Start Date, End Date, Days, Status, Notes, and Actions (edit, delete, plus approve/reject if pending).
- An Add Time Off button in the top right.
Common tasks
Record a new leave entry
- Click Add Time Off.
- Fill in the dialog:
- Member (required)
- Leave Type (required: only active types appear)
- Start Date and End Date (required)
- Working Days: auto-calculated based on the member’s schedule once you pick member + dates
- Status: defaults to APPROVED
- Notes: free text
- Click Save.
See who’s on leave today
Look at the On Leave Today stat card at the top of the page. The number reflects the currently filtered view.
Filter the list
Use the sidebar to narrow down by member name, status, leave type, or date range. Click Apply Filters to load. Clear Filters resets everything to the default view.
Edit or delete a leave entry
- Edit: click the pencil icon in the Actions column.
- Delete: click the trash icon and confirm. The entry is removed; the member’s attendance for those days will recompute on the next reporting run.
Tips
- The Working Days field is read-only: it auto-calculates from the member’s schedule between the start and end dates. If you need to override the day count, change the date range instead.
- Pending Review counts records with status
PENDING. In the current build the Status filter and form default toAPPROVED, so this number typically stays at zero unless requests came in through another channel.
Note: Adding, saving, and deleting all require an active subscription.
