Attendance Report Settings

Use this tab to set up automated attendance reports that go out by email on a schedule. TimePally generates three independent summaries (daily, weekly, monthly) and you control each one separately: enable or disable it, pick when it sends, and choose the recipient list.

Getting there

Click Configurations in the sidebar. The Attendance Report Settings tab opens by default.

What you’ll see

A section heading Auto Report Schedule followed by three expandable cards:

  • Daily Summary Report (open by default)
  • Weekly Summary Report
  • Monthly Summary Report

Each card has its own enable checkbox, time/day controls, recipients selector, and Save button.

Common tasks

Turn on the daily summary

  1. Open the Daily Summary Report card.
  2. Tick Enable Daily Summary Report.
  3. Pick a Send Time (the daily delivery hour, in your local time zone).
  4. Add Recipients:
    • The dropdown is pre-populated with every administrator’s email.
    • Pick existing entries from the list, or type a new email and press Enter: anything containing @ is accepted as a custom recipient.
  5. Click Save Daily Settings.

Configure the weekly report

  1. Open the Weekly Summary Report card.
  2. Tick Enable Weekly Summary Report.
  3. Pick a Day to Send (Monday–Sunday) and a Send Time.
  4. Add Recipients the same way as for daily.
  5. Click Save Weekly Settings.

Configure the monthly report

  1. Open the Monthly Summary Report card.
  2. Tick Enable Monthly Summary Report.
  3. Pick a delivery day in one of two ways:
    • Type a Day of Month between 1 and 31, OR
    • Tick Last day of month (the Day of Month field disables when you do).
  4. Pick a Send Time.
  5. Add Recipients.
  6. Click Save Monthly Settings.

Stop sending a summary without losing your settings

Untick the Enable checkbox on the card and click its Save button. The recipients and times stay configured; flip the toggle back on whenever you want to resume.

Tips

  • Recipients aren’t limited to administrators: you can add any email address. Useful for sharing the report with payroll, HR, or external accountants who don’t need portal access.
  • Each card saves independently. Changing the daily settings doesn’t affect weekly or monthly.
  • For monthly reports, Last day of month automatically handles months of different lengths: February sends on the 28th/29th, June on the 30th, etc.

Note: The settings here only control when reports go out and who receives them. The report contents come from the same data shown on the General Report pages.
